Drama

Both in the classroom and on the stage, Linden Hall Drama encourages students to work toward a common goal, teamwork., as well as interpersonal relationships through role play.    Students can participate in full-length plays, musicals, and smaller theater pieces, including storytelling.  In the classroom, students learn about theater through  history, improvisation, and scene study.  With such a broad range of opportunities, the Drama Department encourages participation from the novice actress to the budding starlet.  The drama classroom strives to build poise and confidence in public speaking and performing to better prepare the young women of Linden Hall for their futures.  Our Drama Competition Team has been regularly recognized for its ensemble skills, and several of our students have been lauded at high school theater festivals.

Music
Students can participate in chorus, instrumental, hand bell choir, and music history in both Middle and Upper School.  Throughout the year students have many opportunities to perform for the student body and out in the community.  Students  advance their skills through individual instrumental and vocal lessons.  Classes are available to students in vocal music and piano keyboarding.
