Athletic Programs at Linden Hall
Linden Hall recognizes and understands the vital role of physical activities and interscholastic competitions in the educational process. Athletics not only involve participation and teambuilding, but provide opportunities for leadership. In addition to the interscholastic offerings, Upper School students may also select additional clubs in aerobics, pilates, yoga, cross country, badminton, strength and conditioning, and table tennis. Middle School students have the opportunity to experience dance, swimming, and riding, all at the club level.
Linden Hall is a member of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and plays an independent schedule in varsity tennis, volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Our co-operative sponsorship with the Warwick School District also permits qualified student athletes to participate in field hockey, swimming, track, softball, and lacrosse. Junior High programs are offered in volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Our equestrian team competes in the Interscholastic Equitation Association (IEA) and at the Zone II Regional and National Championships.
Our student athletes have won multiple PIAA District III E. Jerry Brooks Academic Excellence awards. Students have earned all-league status in tennis, basketball, and soccer and have been selected to all-tournament teams. Others have gone on to play at the collegiate level in tennis, soccer, and lacrosse and to compete on college equestrian teams.
