Visual Arts
Through clubs and classroom experiences, students can pursue a wide range of visual arts.  Students, able to experience a traditional academic setting and a contemporary approach to studying visual arts, have the opportunity to explore drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, wearable art, and artist’s book classes and clubs.  Students who are interested in the visual arts as a career choice have the opportunity to take AP Art History.

In addition to the general Visual and Performing arts courses, students can pursue AP studies in AP2Dstudio Art and AP2Dstudio Photography.

Our students achieve top honors in the visual arts.  Students can check out these works on display around campus every day.  Vusial artists are honored through Arts Night which shares their work with the community.

Photography
The combination cutting-edge photography skills and building an understanding of how to use a camera to express an idea create an exceptional photography program.  Students have an opportunity to participate in traditional black and white photography, digital photography, and specialized photography clubs.  Through photography students will build an understanding of the importance of creative visual communication skills.
