The Advanced Placement Program at Linden Hall

Linden Hall’s Advanced Placement courses are college-level classes taught to high school students on our campus.

Each May, the College Board offers a series of national Advanced Placement examinations written and graded by national committees of experts. At Linden Hall, all students who enroll in our AP courses take these national exams, and do so with extremely successful results. These scores assist them in being admitted to the finest universities, allow them the opportunity to gain course credits from the colleges they enter, and even more importantly, guarantee that they will be extremely well prepared for university study.

The average AP exam score of a Linden Hall student is 4.6 (Based on a scale of 1 to 5). This figure far outpaces the national average of 2.8. (See graph below.) In addition, a remarkable 76% of Linden Hall students earn a perfect AP exam grade of 5, and 96% earn college-qualifying grades of 3, 4, or 5. This data places Linden Hall at the top of all schools in Lancaster County and among the elite of all high schools in the United States.
