Kristen Pilkington's quest to become Linden Hall's first 1,000 pt. scorer came to an abrupt end during the third game of the 2009-2010 season when she tore her ACL. The 799 points she has scored during her Linden Hall basketball career set a school record. Athletic Director Linda Mummert presented Pilkington with a specially painted basketball denoting the scoring record during Senior Night ceremonies January 29.
"Kristen is a first class athlete and a first class scholar. She has done so much during her years at Linden Hall and is just a perfect match for our school," said Mummert.
Kristen is also a four year varsity tennis player with a winning record, serving as captain for two years and finishing fifth in the 2009 Lancaster-Lebanon League Tournament.
She is a four year starter on the basketball team and a two-year captain.
Kristen has also been a three year varsity starter on the Warwick softball team earning league honors all three years.
