Connecting to LindeNET with your computer:

Lots of stuff works on Linden Hall's network - but some programs need assistance to connect. Most programs 'discover' their way out to the Internet, but if you have a stubborn one, here's some things to look for.
In most cases you are looking for an 'options' or 'preferences' area. Inside that area you should find a 'connections' page. Under that page you should see a place to fill in 'proxy' information. The proxy server is what we use to feed everyone at Linden Hall into the Internet.
The settings for our proxy server are 'lindenisa' and the port we use is '8080'.
In most cases, telling a program this information will be enough to get you connected. If not, check on the program's website to see if the program supports proxy useage. Some don't.
